Basically try to prepare for weather that can range from hot and sunny to chilly and damp.
You can buy things like film, batteries, shampoo, etc, in town. There are lots of choices available, just like in France or Germany. However, we will be living in a small village with just a local store, so have your own supplies which you can restock on a shopping trip to town.

- Digging shoes (can get destroyed)
- Pyjamas

- Laundry soap for hand-washing
- English books for leisure reading
- Walkman and tapes or CD's (recommended)
